An Cosán Glas’s illuminated sculpture-trail projects have being wowing huge audiences for the past 20 years. As part of a new departure, An Cosán Glas are pleased to announce a new and exciting sculpture project; one that is sure to be memorable; one that will mesmerise; and one that is deeply rooted in the community. Featuring eight local artists and seven teenagers from the locality, this new project will see the creation of a series of illuminated sculptures that will be exhibited in a factory unit on the Falcarragh Industrial estate.

The sculptures, as always, promise to be eye-catching and awe-inspiring. A number of illuminated sculptures will be placed at various locations around the village of Falcarragh as well – thus, adding a sprinkle of magic to the night-time festivities of the festival.

Traidphicnic, an Spidéal, 2016

Traidphicnic is an open-air Trad Music Festival based in and around the seaside village of An Spidéal; the majority of events take place on an outdoor stage in the surrounds of An Ceardlann/ Spiddal Craft Village. Now in its fifth year, Traidphicnic includes music gigs, crafts demonstrations, interactive art area, camera obscura, sean-nós dance class, informal Irish language classes, sea-shore walks and talks.

This years line up of gigs include Noel Hill & Steve Cooney, Kila, Don Stiffe & Cairde, Clann uí hIarnáin, Porterhead and many more musicians and bands. There is also a full programme of arts events.

Féile na Bealtaine aspires to build on the rich tradition of arts and culture that exists on the Dingle peninsula and to extend and broaden our artistic horizons – above all Féile hopes to entertain and to invigorate.
The festival’s aims are to highlight and promote Dingle’s traditions and bilingual culture and to introduce the arts and artists from other parts of Ireland and the world to the people of Corca Dhuibhne.

This traditional music school pays particular attention to the music, song and musical styles of the Gaeltacht area on the Dingle peninsula.

Some of the best traditional musicians and singers in the country participate and there are always fantastic concerts, sessions, classes and workshops.

A seed fund aimed at developing strategic arts initiatives in the Gaeltacht. For example: development of events , exhibitions, etc. that contribute to the artistic life of the Gaeltacht.

Loinneog Lúnasa – Féile Cheoil Ghaoth Dobhair
